IN THIS POSITION, YOU WOULD:
  • Work closely with the core development team, speed up our back-end coding, and build new features and functions in sprints

  • Work closely with the whole Web team in an agile environment to continuously improve the quality of our product

  • Shape a sustainable web project, maintained by a scaling team and used by millions of cyclists

Key facts about our current tech-stack: React, Redux, MaplibreGL, SASS, TypeScript, NX, Webpack, Jest, REST API. Also expect working with the Django web framework or other tech stacks in older parts of the code base or new projects.

WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Profound knowledge about fundamental web technologies (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JS)

  • High standards regarding semantic and accessible HTML, responsive layouts, bullet-proof functionality, performance and smooth UX

  • A knack for producing clean, pragmatic, readable and maintainable code

  • Experience in modern web development workflows (Git, NPM, bundlers, linting, unit tests)

  • Motivation to solve a great variety of challenges as a team and think outside the box

  • According to the Austrian IT collective agreement, our salary range starts at € 37,000.00 / year (38,5h/week). Your actual offer depends on your skillset and experience.
