SideShift.ai, the no sign up crypto exchange is hiring a Junior Frontend Engineer. Good job! 🎈 Since launching in late 2018, SideShift.ai has been growing rapidly. With seven-figure daily volume and key industry partnerships, we have achieved a lot but there is still plenty more to do. To slot in with our stack we are looking for someone who has experience in tools such as React, TypeScript, Apollo, GraphQL, Storybook, Jest and Cypress. We are searching for a junior frontend engineer who is hungry to scale up their skillset and learn on the job. Role • Building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using modern tools like React, TypeScript, Apollo, GraphQL, Storybook, Jest, Cypress. • Work closely with our frontend lead and other key members of our engineering team. • Ship. Your ideas will make it into live products in no time. You • A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts. • Experience with React or other modern JavaScript web frameworks. • Outstanding at written communication. • Self-motivated and self-managing. Able to thrive in an asynchronous environment. • Hungry to learn and strong interest in working on a cryptocurrency product. • Able to join team meetings in EUAsia timezones (but we try to avoid meetings as much as possible). Nice to have • Experience with unit testing, end-to-end testing, visual testing or TDD. • EUAsia timezone preferred. • An appreciation for memes.
