Your mission will be to help the Gamium team tech area by joining our technical area as Junior React Developer. As a key member of the Development team, you would be expected to come with good experience and knowledge from previous developing roles. With the support of more senior members of the company you would be expected to further develop your skills and knowledge, while at the same time helping to mentor then members of the team. While we are not expecting you to come in with full architecture plans, your ideas will be listened to from day one Gamium is building the first decentralized social metaverse and the digital identity of humans. As a Junior React Developer, you will have an impact on how the application is going to look like, contribute to backend API services, write portable and reusable code. This role suits someone who has good experience with React JS, Redux, TypeScript JavaScript, Node JS. Knowledge of Gatsby JS, and Next JS is an asset. In addition to building an app, you will be part of building the team and the culture of the company. In this industry where things are always changing and developing, there is a real opportunity to learn blockchain tech, adopting new skills and technologies as they merge. Your impact: - Develop new features on a web3 based platform and enhance existing ones - Be one of our gurus on React JS, Redux, Next JS, TypeScript, JavaScript technologies - Collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced environment - Participate in software design Desired Qualifications: - 4+ years of experience in frontend development implementing first class user interfaces - Strong experience with CSS (including Bootstrap, SCSS, and other structured UI libraries) - Previous experience with React JS, Redux, JavaScript - Some experience with any of the following programming languages: Go, C#, Kotlin, Swift, Python. - Exposure to designing structured UI components and libraries. - Experience consuming both REST API and WS servicers for real-time applications Requirements: - Excitement for blockchain, Web 3.0, and similar decentralized technologies. - Willingness to both learn and share your knowledge with others. - Capability to work remotely in a distributed team. - Ability to work under pressure, we’re a fast paced startup, you’ll be working on many different things day to day. - A strong desire to grow and challenge yourself. While this role is mainly focused on maintenance, we would expect you to constantly find ways to improve and automate services under your purview. - Strong communication skills. You can give and receive constructive feedback, and you do not shy away from planning meetings and code reviews.
