About The Role
A Technical Lead represents the technology aspect of a product team, leading the technical direction, and guiding developers. Technical Leads have a large amount of technical experience working across multiple systems as well as great communication skills, and prioritization masteries. They have the architecture, platform vision, patterns and practices always in mind.
Main challenges
Facilitate Agile.
Team Work Guiding the product technical vision.
Planning and management of technical debt.
Design and define SLAs, metrics & Observability in your services.
Responsible for the team's productivity and collective impact.
Design processes to create an effective pipeline of work into the team.
Knows how to break software features down into components that can be developed in parallel work by them and other engineers and then reassembled successfully into a cohesive feature launch.
Understands how to make technical trade-offs between short-term vs. long-term technology needs combining in the emental flow of value and technical excellence in your team.
Guide the team to deliver high-quality products
Mentor and guide developers.
Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of our services so they always meet their SLAs.
Working together with the Product and Design teams to build the best UX for our customer
Our daily stack is:
Technical stack: TypeScript, Node.js,React, React Native, Auth0, MongoDB (Atlas).
We add tests to everything. Also, we log what's going on internally using Sentry.
We have our CI/CD with GitlabCI and we deploy several times each day.

What we are looking for
Outstanding software engineering skills.
Product Engineer mindset.
You can design and build stable and performant software, which is easy for others to contribute to, and is extend sible and maintainable.
Experience in developing medium/large-scale web applications and distributed systems.
Ability to work with uncertain requirements and to define and propose scoping, requirements, and development plans when necessary. Flexibility and adaptability upon changes. Knowledge of when to trade technical excellence for delivery.
Adhere to standards and best practices.

Learn from feedback and help others learn to write better applications.

Hiring Process
Recruiter Screen: We would love to meet interested people and their motivations in a first 30 min call with one of the People team members.
Hiring Manager Interview: You will be invited to a first technical call to discuss your experience, and future ambitions, and also to talk more about the role and its challenges.
Technical Interview: To keep knowing your technical skills, we will organize an online code review with the team.
Team Interview: Finally, we will invite you to a chat with 2 team members to talk about the assignment and to work on an architectural challenge with the team.

Estimate pay range for this role is 60.000€ to 80.000€
