JOB PURPOSE

A Lead Experience Developer is required to work on our development efforts to create rich gaming worlds, immersive augmented reality experiences and research metaverse opportunities. The main purpose is to bring our experiences to life through interaction, visual effects and other technical aspects of a project. We are looking for an individual keen to craft an awesome player experience who will be comfortable living in the space between code and design.

You will help build a diverse and talented team to deliver interactive experiences. You will be working with designers, programmers and production to provide the technical glue of our gaming and augmented reality experiences. You will also help research the next big emerging tech opportunities as well as mentoring more junior developers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and craft engaging experiences using best practices
• Draft prototypes of game mechanicsideas
• Build augmented reality experiences
• Ensure overall quality of the games developed and offer conciseconstructive feedback to colleagues
• Research new platforms and features
• Working to milestones and flag any issues to the productionmanagement team
• Mentoring more junior team members

• SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Familiar with at least one scripting language such as JavaScript
  • Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal
  • Familiar with 3D modelling and pipelines for real time environments
  • Experience creating shadersmaterials (node based or code)
  • An interest and enthusiasm for Web3 technologies, including Metaverse & Blockchain Gaming
  • A portfolio demonstrating creative tech projects
  • Ability to think quickly and help the engineering team to solve problems
  • Helping the business grow through the success of its Web3 projects

    • Experience with augmented reality platforms (Spark AR, Lens Studio)
