Role: Lead Front End Engineer

Salary: £48-55k per annum 

Contract type: Full-time. We offer flexibility of working hours and location

Location: Bristol

What you will be doing

You will help lead our front end team, line manage a growing team of Front End Engineers, nurturing their growth and recruiting new team members.

Working in an agile environment you will be building the next generation of our eSignature platform using VueJS, Tailwind, HTML/CSS. 

You will have an exciting vision for front end technologies and a passion and drive to realise your vision within our evolving platform.

Whether it be participate in sessions to help architect and plan out new features (we call these '3 Amigos' sessions), pair programming with a remote colleague to find the right solution to a tough problem, or spending some time learning new technologies in a valued knowledge share session - no day is ever the same.

We operate a hybrid work policy and only require you to pop into the office a few days a month.

When you are in the office we are situated in the heart of Bristol, very close to the harbourside and in a fantastic newly kitted out 3 floor building with space to either work alone or breakout in one of our rooms on a beanbag, standing desk, whatever makes you most comfortable and most productive.

Our Ideal Candidate

• You are an ambitious, talented front end developer
• You are experienced with either React, Angular, VueJS or another MVC Javascript framework
• You are totally comfortable working with Git
• You have experience with line management and recruiting 

And a massive bonus if:

• You have great experience with VueJS, VueJS TDD and Tailwind
• You have experience building Progressive Web Apps
• You have good experience working with designers, working in Figma (or similar) translating designs into beautiful experiences
• You are comfortable with Unix command line
• You have experience using GitLab
• You have some backend knowledge/experience (Laravel and/or PHP?)
• Knowledge of AWS
