Job Description & Responsibilities: Pinata is creating a world where people can own the experience of creating and distributing content. We’re looking for someone to help make that experience easier through client-side tools and applications. In this role, you will largely be responsible for backend development using Node.js. Your responsibilities will include: * Take direction from architects, help break down the work into tickets with clear requirements * Lead team through estimation process * Help coordinate tasks across other engineers & ensure there are no missing pieces * Lead the delivery of the project through lower environments and onto production * Ask questions of architects and product manager regarding any unknown parts * Design and implement software for the backend, or full-stack (if applicable) * Write reusable, testable, idiomatic, principled code * Read and write technical documentation * Debugging * Assume technical responsibility of various complex systems Job Requirements: * Strong technical expertise in modern web development framework, toolsets, and development methodology * Extensive experience building Rest APIs using Node.js and Express * Experience working with SQL databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL like MongoDB * Experience with unit and integration testing * Basic knowledge of Docker, Cloudflare, AWS, and other cloud technologies Bonus: * knowledge of IPFS * knowledge of Serverless Lambda * knowledge of Kafka, SQS * knowledge of GoLang What you get: Ability to work remotely anywhere Competitive salary Health benefits including dental & vision Unlimited paid time off Professional Development Stipend 18 weeks Maternity + Paternity Leave Equity for every FT salaried employee Who we are: Pinata Technologies, Inc. is building the tools and infrastructure for a more free and empowering Web3 generation through IPFS.
