As a NodeJS Cloud Engineer, you will design and build high-available eCommerce solutions within distributed architecture guided by the following principles:

• Headless

• Cloud-native

• Serverless

• Microservice

• Event-driven architecture

Tech stack in our projects

• TypeScript / Node.js / Express.js / Nest.js / Monorepo - Turborepo / Unit & Integration tests - Jest

• Cloud-native services on GCP (Functions, App Engine, Pub/Sub, Workflow, Firestore, etc.)

• IaC/CaC Terraform

• Frontend apps Vue.js / React.js

• GitHub / Bitbucket

Key Responsibilities

• You will be part of an international agile team that builds large and medium-sized eCommerce solutions for our clients

• You will plan, design, and develop high-quality integrations and backend for frontend solutions on top of commercetools

• You will constantly develop your mastery and help us create best practices and share knowledge between cross-functional teams

Skills & Requirements

• Solid experience in JavaScript / TypeScript and Node.js

• Experience in working with Serverless, Cloud-native development on GCP or AWS

• Feel confident writing automated tests (unit & integration)

• Knowledge of architectural and design patterns for the creation, communication, and orchestration of microservices

• Can efficiently deal in designing and implementing integrations with distributed systems

• Upper-Intermediate English, both verbal and written

Nice to have

• Knowledge about eCommerce

• Experience with some DevOps tools (Github, Terraform, Docker)

• Experience with GraphQL on the client and server-side

• Experience with Vue.js or React.js frameworks

• Experience in TDD, DDD
