We are building amazing things at Circle of Style within the sustainable fashion tech space and on the look out for experienced back-end developers with strong problem solving skills and pro-active about the things they are working on. We like independent thinkers who take initiative and come up with solutions.This is a short term contract role but open to discuss longer or perm opportunites. Our back-end and front-end is built on JavaScript using NodeJs on the back-end, React/NextJS on the front-end, all deployed using AWS and Vercel.

Experience we are looking for:

• Solid experience in NodeJS
• You have built APIs, know how to design them and understand the various aspects around them (Caching, CORs, Security etc)
• Serverless and Lamda experience, particularly in AWS and using the Serverless framework
• Good relational DB experience
• Good experience of AWS
• Knowledge of DynamoDB
• Building CI/CD pipelines

Bonus but not required:

• Github actions
• Terraform
• React and Front-end experience
• NextJS framework and Vercel
• Stripe API experience
• Auth0 experience

Day rate is negotiable, please specify what your expectations are when applying.
