What you’ll do:

You will work as part of a product team on developing a software product that is used by data teams to track, monitor, and optimise the delivery of data assets. The product is used by FTSE100 companies to improve the data operations of their data platform; platforms that typically process terabytes of data and ingest dozens or hundreds of different data sources to produce data assets that drive business-critical decision making and other applications.

We're looking for someone to hit the ground running and can build and integrate automation test suites into the CI/CD processes and work closely with the engineering team to ensure quality software is delivered.

This is an exciting opportunity as you will be empowered to make decisions around the technology used and how it is implemented.

A successful candidate will be:

• Self-driven and excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up
• Having a high sense of responsibility as you will own the quality of the product
• Strong at solving problems, and having a high attention to detail
• Pro-active and able to spot issues before code is written
• Great at communication and collaborating with team members
• Able to share your experience and help others grow their skillset

You'll have the following:

• Expertise in building automated end-to-end tests
• Knowledge of front-end JavaScript testing frameworks
• Knowledge of performance testing and tools
• Knowledge of cross browser testing and tools
• Knowledge of testing Restful APIs
• Experience in defining and owning the release management process
• Ability to automate tasks and deploy production standard code
• Ability to refine acceptance criteria (e.g., Gherkin syntax)
• A proven passion for developing high quality software

• Confident and concise communication skills, with the ability to drive alignment, collaboration, and efficiency within the team
• Comfort with some travel to London office (we are a remote-first team)
• Right to work in the UK

Non-essential, but it would be great if you have:

• Experience with Cypress/Testcafe/Webdriver
• Experience with .NET/SQL/Javascript/React/NodeJS

We’re tool-agnostic, but often work with either the latest Azure or AWS stacks, where experience with at least one is essential
