We are looking for a React Native developer interested in helping us build our iOS and Android apps. Your main responsibility will be the Android build and make optimisations for iPad to make sure that it performs and looks great on various devices.

We are a remote-first company. Currently, we are two people in Copenhagen and one in Sweden. We are building a platform with interactive audio adventures for kids. You will be joining us right as we are getting ready to start testing with external testers, so you'll also be helping us get the app ready for iPhones and iPad.

An overview of expected responsibilities:

• Writing effective, scalable, and reusable JavaScript code and update current functions.

• Improve performance, diagnosing and fixing errors and bugs

• Have experience or worked with the following libraries

• react-navigation

• supabase / PostgreSQL

• reanimated

• react-native-voice

• react-native-track-player

• Making sure libraries are linked and other additional steps for installation are done correctly.

• Platform-specific changes to the UI to account for various screen sizes.

• Platform-specific changes to the implementation of different functions, e.g downloading and storing files locally, playback of audio files and voice recognition.
