Your New Role

Our people are at the core of what we do. Tiny is seeking an experienced JavaScript Software Engineer to join our Editor Platform development team. In this role you will have the opportunity to influence the way hundreds of millions of people create content on the web.

You will work with a team who develops and maintains our editor technology along with integrations into popular systems and frameworks. You'll work with the latest JavaScript and web technologies ensuring our products work in the latest web applications on modern browsers including mobile devices. As part of the role you will collaborate closely with engineering, UX, QA and product management across the world to successfully deliver products to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a world-leading editing experience for Web and mobile platforms.

  • Develop test cases and continuously test your code prior to committing.

  • Debug subtle and deep browser inconsistencies.

  • Ingenuity, creativity, lateral thinking. Solving unusual problems.

  • Customer focus - customer support and managing support cases.

Key Experience
  • Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript application design and development.

  • Deep experience in Web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS, with some knowledge of popular frameworks.

  • Deep understanding of solving browser inconsistencies in UI development without resorting to JavaScript frameworks.

  • Knowledge of Agile practices, especially Scrum, or have strong opinions of how to develop good software.

  • A strong desire to learn new things. Learning is key to everyday life at Tiny.

This is a fully remote, work from home position and can be worked from anywhere in EMEA or APAC.
