What you'll be doing as Senior Front-end Developer at Circularise?

As Front-end Developer you will be responsible for writing and testing code, developing frontend components, ensuring UX/UI feasibility and integrating user-facing elements in collaboration with our back-end team and designers. You will have a crucial role, as we always want to amaze our customers with our product.

In this role, you’ll be part of a diverse team consisting of several specialists. More specifically, your focus will be on implementing our SaaS frontend to bring value to our customers.

• Competitive salary; depending on experience & salary the range for this role starts at €60,000 with a maximum of €70,000

The bits we really really need you to have

• You have at least 4 years of experience as a React developer.

• You know Typescript and can write robust and maintainable JavaScript code using modern standards (ES6+).

• You know the best practices (responsive design, architectural pattern that scales, etc.).

• You have some strong CSS skills, and write clean and consistent code.

• You take into account the business constraints first and foremost when implementing features.

• You are a proactive team-oriented individual but can work independently when needed. You hold others accountable to Agile values and are committed to high quality standards.

• Familiarity with distributed revision control systems such as Git.

• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• You have a strong technological vision – You introduce innovations and implement team-wide solutions to complex problems. You like to make the bigger technology decisions, focus on proper implementation and actively engage in optimal release planning.

• You like to be a mentor – You positively influence other team members by investing time and energy in their development and personal growth. Feedback and active participation in Agile sessions is a key component. 

• You actively commit to good communication and effectiveness – You treat all team members equally. 

• You are the Go To Person – for both front-end colleagues and other departments (if required)

The technical bits we hope you will have

• Experience with Next.js.

• Experience with Styled Components. 

• Experience with React Query.

• Experience with Storybook.

• Experience in writing e2e tests (using a testing framework like playwright)

• Experience as a Tech lead.

• Good knowledge of modern browser technologies and client-side performance.

• Experience with Agile methodologies.

• Experience with Design system components development.

Challenges

• Work towards a production ready system for a large number of clients.

• Ensuring feasibility of UI/UX designs and modifying specifications of complex applications.

• A transparent industry protocol while still maintaining strong privacy and security features (for us, but also our clients).

• Make use of exciting new tech and their caveats: decentralization, public blockchains, Zero Knowledge Proof (and at a later stage big data analytics).
