Are you passionate about food technology? We’re Foodee, a team of food experts on a mission to connect local restaurants to businesses through our corporate catering platform. We help corporations spread the power of good food by curating menus from top local restaurants and delivering them to your office.

The ideal candidate for Senior Front End Developer is one who is highly motivated and technically skilled with the ability to execute development tickets in accordance with their scope, ensuring technical solutions are executed according to plan. This role is responsible for building and improving the technology that powers our business - including our customer ordering experience, vendor management, recommendations, vendor scheduling, and real-time order tracking.

• Participate in product direction, system architecture, and team evolution

• Ensure code quality using industry standards, peer reviews, automated testing

• Mentor less experienced developers

• Work with passionate people who take ownership of product features and process

• Participate in weekly learning sessions where you’ll experiment with new technologies and techniques

• FrontEnd - Ember, React Native, SCSS / LESS

• Hosting - AWS/Heroku

• Backend - Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq

• Version Control - Git (Github)

• Dev Environment - Mac + Docker

• Continuous Delivery with Github Actions + Heroku

• Jira + Confluence for Issue tracking, planning, and specification

• Strong attention to detail 

• Experience building products with JavaScript & CSS

• Experience with Test Automation including writing unit, integration, and feature tests in JS applications

• Effective collaboration with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders  

• Experience with server management - AWS, Heroku, Azure, etc.

• Experience with automated test infrastructure, build and deploy tools

• Any full-scale production projects using front end technologies - Ember, React, Angular, Backbone, etc.

• Experience with Ruby on Rails

• Experience working in an Agile / SCRUM environment
