We're on the lookout for a 2x Senior Freelance Front-end Engineers with SaaS/tech startup experience. 

YJCollective is a brand-new collective of creatives, consultants, and engineers collaborating to deliver complex design and software solutions. We partner with high-growth and impact organisations that need product development, business support and coaching. 

About the role

STARTING ASAP

• Full-time 6 months contract with opportunity for recurring work 
• At least five years of experience with React (you will have to demonstrate it)
• Good at implementing best-in-class UI and following design instructions 
• Helping with writing documentation and tests
• You will team up with other software engineers 

The ideal profile 

You are an experienced freelancer/contractor that knows how to lead a technical project, communicate effectively, and pay attention to details. 

Requirements

• ReactJs (5+ years)
• Redux
• Modern Javascript APIs
• SCSS and CSS-in-JS (particularly modern Grid and responsive layouts)
• Consuming and integrating APIs (Internal and external)
• Git

Bonus:

• Serverless architecture
• Microservice design
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
• TypeScript
• Automated testing
• NoSQL (MongoDB / Amazon DocumentDB)
• Agile development (Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD)

Job type 

• Initial six months contract with the prospect of more
• Hybrid (London) or fully remote possible 
• The day rate depends on the individual experience level - pro-rate of the referred salary range
