As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll support the success of the company’s newest upcoming products. Being a part of our rapidly growing team, you’ll be working on the new product Universal Back Office (our new customer facing reporting system). You will help shape the UX review and design flow, work with Product Managers to scope the design and early iteration of feature requests and new products, as well as manage design consistency between products. The role will work cross-functionally with engineering, product and business teams to develop top notch user experiences.

As a Frontend Engineer at GeoComply, you are someone who takes ownership of your projects, has a sound design background and communicates well with various stakeholders to execute your plans. You are someone with a proven history of results and can speak on the impact your work had on products and users.

• Research new features, analyze requirements, estimate implementation; design software; code reviews; document solutions.
• Ability to convert business level requirements into technical specifications.
• Design your own solutions to given problems, taking operational requirements into consideration.
• Consistently write clean, readable code with repeatable high quality results.
• Assist Quality Assurance Teams in preparing unit tests and checking software deliverables.
• Fully understand the life cycle of product development.
• Communicate technical ideas to a variety of audiences including non-technical stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with key people in the organization.
• Actively seek to share technical expertise with others.
• Follow the best practices and process established in the team.
• Understand the company's vision, goals and strategy. Actively contribute to the achievement of the goals and execution of the company’s strategy.

1. 5+ years of experience in frontend development, including high proficiency using front-end tools/frameworks such as: Bootstrap, Vue.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Flux and/or the React ecosystem (React, Redux, Thunk, Saga)
2. Proven history of creating high quality products from conception to deployment at scale.
3. Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS and Javascript/Typescript.
4. Previous experience with working within a service-oriented-architecture environment.
5. Experience developing in PHP Laravel is a plus.
6. Experience in working in and adhering to short, agile, iterative development cycles.
7. Familiar and comfortable using Linux based systems.
8. Great with version control systems such as Git and continuous integrations such as Jenkins.
9. A true team player with great communication and interpersonal skills.
10. You have experience mentoring other developers, including coaching and knowledge sharing.
11. You value working on top performing teams and strive to continuously improve engineering and team practices.
12. Results-oriented with a history of consistently meeting deadlines.
13. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
14. Excellent written and spoken technical English.
15. Ability to work with distributed teams and occasional international travel.
