Klarity (YC S18) is building the NLP platform of the future for document review. Scores of employees in every enterprise (Accounting, Deal Desk, Procurement, etc.) constantly review documents. Current solutions to this problem involve complex workflow software yielding only marginal benefits. Our vision is to eliminate human document review by developing a deep understanding of the content of documents.

Finance and accounting teams at companies like Okta, Coupa, MongoDB and many others are relying on Klarity to review their revenue docs instead of humans. We’ve more than 3xd our ARR in the last 6 months and are on track to 5x in the next 12 months. We are a tightly-knit, fun-loving team of engineers, accountants and lawyers collectively speaking over 10 languages!

We are looking to add a brilliant Senior Frontend Engineer (React.js) to our team. You will be the Engineer #6 and Frontend Engineer #2!

Location : Onsite (San Francisco) or Remote

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development of major new features in the Klarity Web App. For example advanced document visualization, automated user workflows.

• Developing and testing new “power-user” features with our ops before deploying to customers. 

• Working with the CEO & CTO to rapidly prototype new product ideas.

Requirements:

• Strong experience developing modern web applications using React (with functional components) and TypeScript.

• Experience working closely with designers and design tools (Figma, Zeplin etc).

• An obsession with User Experience.

• RESTful API design experience. The Klarity backend is built in Python.

Nice-to-haves :

• Backend/Full-Stack Experience

• Experience with testing, profiling and debugging frameworks.
