Becoming a Mentioneer means you’ll be joining our Referral Engineering® movement, which is changing the world of marketing.

We’re on a mission to help brands harness the exponential power of their fans through the power of referral.

Since 2013, our referral-marketing platform has made it easy for online shoppers to refer great brands to their friends and family. We’ve delivered more than $1.5bn in revenue for 450 brands including Charlotte Tilbury, Farfetch, Nutmeg, Pret a Manger and Puma.

We’re changing the world of marketing, one Referral Engineering® programme at a time.

The Role

As Senior Frondend Engineer you’ll be joining the Engineering team made up of 27 Mentioneers.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Mention Me you will collaborate with our design team and our engineers to help make the frontend experience at Mention Me really shine.

Your work will be shown to hundreds of thousands of people around the world every day and will help major companies make decisions about their referral strategies. We're looking for someone who can get involved in it all: collaborating with the existing team, building tools and technologies and delivering wonderful products. We'd love you to have an opinion on user experience, on product direction and how to make the most of technical problems.

What you’ll do:

• Delivering major new functionality to the Mention Me platform in React
• Working collaboratively with our design team to improve the design of the Mention Me platform
• Being part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designers and product managers to deliver commercially viable product features to end users

We'd really like to hear from you, if ...

• Have 3+ years of commercial experience with React
• Comfort with taking a product from MVP to MLP (Minimum Loveable Product), and iterating continuously
• Proven track record of delivering commercially viable software
• Experience of making difficult trade offs between technology and user experience

What to expect after you apply:

After you apply, expect to hear back from us within 3 working days, regardless of the outcome. If there’s an unexpected delay, it could take a few days longer but we definitely won’t leave you hanging.

If we progress your application, you’ll be invited to arrange a 30-minute call with either Chim or Dom (who run our Talent Team)

After the initial conversation if it’s a good match both ways, you’ll be invited to meet with the hiring manager, typically over a virtual call but we also love face to face interviews where possible.

Following a successful first stage interview, you’ll be invited to the 2nd stage which will be a panel interview with Steve, Ed (Head of Engineering) and another member of the engineering team. It will involve a technical exercise at the beginning followed by a deeper dive into your experience, ambitions etc and a chance for you to also dig deeper.
