We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the team that builds and maintains the online face of Pitch. As part of our Website team, you’ll work with the folks who conceptualise and build the interactive websites that promote Pitch and serve as the most significant entry point for users into our ecosystem.

What you’ll get to do…

• Developing and maintaining the online face of the company. You’ll be building website components and landing pages that promote Pitch to our users, candidates, investors, and more. A stellar example of the work done by our website team is the (probably familiar to you) jobs page, but also check out our Pitch Pro landing page for a more recent example.

• Consistently seek ways to improve website performance and bring loading times ever closer to nil.

• Work with our marketing team to optimize our website for SEO.

• Refactor existing code and maintaining the codebase.

• Work with our designers to improve user experience across our web presence.

This role is perfect for you if you bring...

• Deep experience with Javascript and its modern features with strong knowledge of ReactJS and the React ecosystem.

• Experience with Redux or other state management libraries.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with Webpack and other build tools.

• Knowledge of browser APIs and web development best practices.

• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting web applications.

It's a bonus, but not a must, if you also have...

• Experience with web analytics.

• Experience with WebGL and Three.js.

• Experience with other JavaScript libraries and frameworks (Angular, Vue, etc.)

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Understanding of web security best practices.

• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS.

• Experience with test automation tools like Jest and Cypress.

• Experience with Linux/Unix command-line environments.

• Experience with automated testing and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

• Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) and accessibility (a11y) principles.
