Job Description

Cutting edge Company that is creating an industry is looking for creative, smart and hard-working Senior Full Stack Developer. This position is remote and full-time. You will be the lead developer responsible for continuing to develop the web application and storefront.

Senior Full Stack Developer (Vue.JS, Node.JS, Nuxt, Strapi)

Location: Fully Remote Term: 4 month contract and highly likely to extend

Responsibilities

· Producing robust, secure, scalable code and coordinating with other software developers and project managers.

· Writing user-side logic with JavaScript, and developing user-facing web applications and components.

· Developing user-facing applications using Vue.js while building modular/reusable components and libraries.

· Staying up-to-date with all recent developments in the JavaScript and Vue.js space.

· Keeping an eye on security updates and issues found with Vue.js and all project dependencies.

· Proposing any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices.

Requirements

· At least 5-8 years of experience in Vue.js and object-orientated programming, Node.js, Nuxt.js and Strapi.

· Highly proficient with the Vue.js framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM.

· Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, & Vue Router.

· Familiar with relational databases such as MySQL

· Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

· Experience building cloud-native solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)

· Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3

· Experience performance tuning web client applications

· Experience building and maintaining CI/CD Build and Release pipelines

· Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases.

· Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code.

· Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs.

· Act as a lead for the overall design and development of the software solution in an agile environment

· Strong proficiency in source code management using Git.

· Be a self-starter, self-motivated, goal setter and achiever with a "get it done right” mentality, able to propose new ideas and better ways of doing things.

· Must be able to adapt on the fly and iterate rapidly with little supervision.
