Overview

Planetary is hiring an senior-level Full-Stack Engineer on a part-time, ongoing basis. The role involves providing on-call support of web-based projects and collaborating with a design and development team. This is a part-time, hourly role with 2-4 hours per week expected.

Responsibilities

• Answering emergent engineering and dev-op needs on an on-call basis during weekdays or weekends, largely during daytime hours (9a-5p Perth time, 12p-8p Sydney time) to ensure site uptime.

• Planning and executing against a backlog of development tasks on a sprint-based schedule.

• Estimating levels of effort and rough timelines for completion.

• Collaborating with other teammates to solve complex user interface implementation challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.

• Experience with Sanity and React preferred.

• Experience with Java and Microsoft Azure a bonus.

• Self-motivated and excited about finding technical challenges in any project.

• Familiar with the latest tools and technologies.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision. Self-motivated and pro-active approach required.

• English fluency.
