Caspar Health was founded in 2016 to revolutionise the world of physiotherapy. Currently, patients cannot get satisfying prevention and aftercare treatment because it requires visiting medical facilities. Using the Caspar Health App, we allow patients to overcome the limited access to temporal on-site therapy and enable them to exercise anytime at home and anywhere.

With Caspar Health, therapists create and share therapy plans with their patients, and both parties interact with each other remotely. Caspar Health works with the most prominent health providers in Germany. We are a leader among B2B2C tele-rehabilitation platforms.

We are looking for a highly motivated (Senior) FullStack Engineer - TypeScript (all genders) to join our team in Berlin. It is an exciting time to work at Caspar because you can learn new technologies, and you will be the one designing how the system will work in the future.

You will be responsible for the full stack development in one of our cross-functional teams.

Your Challenges

• You will develop new functionality and continuously improve the Caspar Health applications in patient, healthcare professional, and clinic domains.

• You will work in a cross-functional team using Scrum.

• You will collaborate closely with colleagues from Product Management, UX, QA, Analytics, Development Operations, and Architecture disciplines to improve teamwork and exchange of knowledge.

• You will use your field of expertise to improve development processes.

• You will contribute to best practices in code quality, test automation, APIs, CI/CD, Software architecture.

Your profile

• You bring at least three years of experience working with backend and frontend technologies

• You are an expert using TypeScript in production

• You have broad experience with single page application frameworks, preferably Angular and React.js

• You know SQL very well

• You are focussed on scalability, testability, and maintainability of the deliverables

• You bring a hands-on mentality, and enjoy trying and learning new things

• You are a team-player

• You are a good communicator

• You have solid English skills

In a perfect world, you additionally have experience with:

• Ruby on Rails

• Container technologies (Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes)

• AWS or some other cloud provider

• GraphQL

• PostgreSQL

• NoSQL databases
