The team is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer that is equally passionate about well-designed front-end experiences and distributed backend systems.

What You'll Do

• Develop and deploy web applications, APIs, and SDKs using Javascript, Typescript, and Java.

• Be an active member of a cross-functional team working alongside product and design.

• Work across teams to build systems that integrate with Spotify's payments platforms

• Deliver high-quality code and take operational responsibility for the components that you develop.

• Author and circulate technical RFCs to document approaches.

• Work in an environment that supports your individual growth with continuous learning.

Who You Are

• Have at least 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer

• Experienced with modern JavaScript (React and TypeScript) coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques.

• Care about web technologies and keeping up with current engineering best practices.

• Familiar with backend development, and comfortable jumping into our Java microservices.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and can navigate through ambiguity and technical complexity.

• A collaborative teammate who sees the value in pairing, mobbing, and working independently.

• A strong communicator who can work with stakeholders to understand, document, and develop APIs and systems to meet their needs.
