• Elastic is seeking a talented Senior JavaScript Engineer to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work with exceptional engineers on cutting edge technology. Come help us to build the best Open Source Application Experience platform in the Cloud. Our service is operated at planet scale - across major Cloud providers in 50 plus regions across the world, hosting mission critical workloads for thousands of customers in every industry. You will work on many key projects and initiatives partnering closely across many Elastic teams and communities.

• Work closely with Design and Product teams to build powerful end-user facing experiences.
• Innovate, lead and contribute to UIs for turnkey solutions.
• Collaborate with other development teams both in Elastic and across our community, including code and technical design reviews to complete product deliverables.
• Write and maintain high-quality JavaScript and TypeScript code.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

• 5+ years of Frontend focused development work, including an excellent understanding of UX/UI design principles.
• Demonstrated ability building scalable applications with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Understanding of at least one modern JS framework such as React.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a teammate with strong analytical, problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a globally distributed team.

• Knowledge and experience with Elasticsearch or Kibana is a plus.
• Experience with Node.js
