Location 

Although this is a remote role, due to the regulated nature of the projects we take on the candidates applying must be located within the UK. 

What the Role Will Look Like

We’re looking for a Senior React Developer, working as part of a team to deliver green field projects. The role will include building client platforms working closely with the design team and backend development team to completion, whilst being able to maintain our existing platforms and contribute to other internal projects.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and also enjoy the collaboration as being part of a team, willing to contribute their ideas.

Must Have Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years in building and maintaining React applications
• Solid understanding of semantic HTML and CSS
• Experienced in typescript

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Understanding of modern React e.g. hooks and contexts.
• Experience in testing React applications.
• Experience with common packages such as Formik, Redux, Material Design and Tailwind.
• .Net Core 
• Working with Rest API 

Bonus

• Experience working on platforms where time related functionality is central e.g. a booking platform.
• Understanding of other front end libraries / frameworks e.g. Vue.js, Svelte etc.
• Flutter / Dart 
• Azure
• Ruby On Rails

Key Responsibilities

• Engaging with clients to determine how development can fit their needs
• Maintain personal development and keep up to date with the broader frontend development changes and improvements
• Take concepts from the team design team and on to quality pieces of software 
• Ensure quality in the finished products by regularly reviewing PRs from the rest of the team and handing over to the test team 
• Managing feedback from clients during development and post release

Location

The role will be reporting to the HQ in Edinburgh the role can either be hybrid or fully remote depending on your location.
