We aim to become the leading platform for active investment management

Actively Managed Certificates (AMCs) are securitized portfolios that are dynamically adjusted at the discretion of an investment manager. Unlike other comparable financial vehicles, AMCs allow investment managers to turn their investment ideas into a product virtually overnight, at a fraction of the cost. This flexibility led to a rise in popularity in recent years, with the global AMC market now exceeding $1 trillion in assets under management.

The lack of automation and suitable interfaces for AMC management results in manual and time-consuming processes and imposes unnecessary restrictions on the issuance of AMCs. vestr’s white-labelled portfolio management system solves these industry problems by enabling institutional market participants to manage and automate the entire lifecycle of actively managed investment products: portfolio managers can rebalance their portfolios, generate custom reports, and obtain key portfolio insights; issuers can fully automate time consuming processes and leverage the audit capabilities of the platform to fulfil regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do

You will work closely with our product and technology experts to develop new solutions for a well-defined set of business problems. This can include new features in the core platform or integration projects for our clients and third-party providers. You will be encouraged and expected to take ownership of certain business domains and integration projects.

Our platform is built with Node.js and TypeScript, employs DDD/CQRS and event sourcing principles, and runs on Google Cloud. We integrate into a wide variety of systems including order management systems (OMS), brokers, pricing systems, reference data providers, portfolio intelligence providers, core banking systems, and many more. This allows you to work on a diverse set of challenges and technologies: you might integrate into an OMS or a broker using the FIX protocol, import millions of data points from a reference data set, or deal with real-time data from pricing systems. You will also have the opportunity to take on Front-End or DevOps tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field

• 5 years of professional experience in software development

• Solid understanding of Node.js fundamentals and TypeScript

• Previous experience in designing and using APIs in distributed software

• Previous experience in working with databases (SQL, MongoDB, or similar)

• Fluent in English

• You are a team player and problem solver, who also enjoys working independently.
