Senior Software Developer

Job Location: Toronto, Alberta, Quebec, British Columbia, Manitoba

What you’ll be doing:
  1. The Senior Developer at Resolver is involved with key areas of the development process; research, design, programming, and testing of our software technology in order to enable and support short and long term business goals
  2. Displays extensive knowledge of programming languages including In-depth knowledge of the frameworks used by the team
  3. Always willing to engage and help other team members learn
  4. Develops new user-facing features, from the database all the way up to the browser
  5. Identifies issues up front and remediates them quickly and efficiently; rarely anything more than minor mistakes
  6. Helps junior team members identify and remediate their issues
  7. Actively participate in prioritization with Product and the team
  8. Proficient at performing peer code review and providing succinct and relevant feedback in this area.
  9. Knows what feedback is worth providing, and what is just noise
  10. Optimizes applications for maximum speed and scalability
  11. Writing and maintaining database schema, queries and procedures
  12. Solution, Implement and Maintain Cloud Systems and Infrastructure
What you will bring
  1. 5 + years experience Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  2. 5 + years experience Backend (NodeJs, Golang or equivalent)
  3. 5 + years experience Front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
  4. A passion for solving hard problems and delivering extraordinary software to our customers
  5. Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  6. A highly collaborative and helpful attitude towards other team Professional JavaScript architectural knowledge
  7. Security of code is always top of mind
