Momence is a next-gen booking and communications platform for experience-based businesses, such as a yoga & pilates studios, gyms, dance schools, salons & spas, golf facilities, swim schools, etc. We help over 1,500 businesses with scheduling & payments, communication, and automation of their business backend. We also have a customer-facing Momence app, where tens of thousands of customers book their wellness experiences every month. At Momence, we are bringing modern-day software into the experience economy, a growing part of the economy that is currently highly underserved by modern software.

Mobile engineering is creating the core application that small businesses use to be discovered and create magical moments. From scheduling to payments, marketing to payroll; we’re building a product that makes it easy for people to grow their customer base while we handle the complexities of tailoring our software to fit their business needs. Providing a mobile front door that is easy to use, works reliably, and drives revenue for our users is a cornerstone of our engineering strategy.

Design and build the next iteration of Momence’s user facing mobile application. You can expect to play a critical role in an early stage team, having an impact on the way that we scale not only our product, but our engineering culture. You will:

1. Design, build, and maintain mobile applications for both iOS and Android
2. Deliver features that reduce complexity and delight users with their simplicity
3. Set a standard for best practices in tooling, documentation, and engineering processes
4. Work closely with engineering and product leadership to strategize and execute on an ambitious product roadmap.
5. Preferred experience
6. 5+ Years of software engineering experience with a mobile-first focus
7. Expertise in Typescript, React Native, and Node.JS
8. You’ve built products that scale, and have opinions on how to do so
9. BS, MS, or Ph.D in Computer Science or a related field
