Tasks

• You implement new features of our continuously evolving web applications using state-of-the-art technologies and platforms such as Next.js, Vercel, MongoDB, Google Cloud and more.

• You develop compelling responsive user interfaces for both desktop and mobile devices.

• You ensure a great performance of the applications as they scale and evolve.

• You work in an agile, cross-functional team, collaborating with product designers, product owner and other engineers.

• You perform code reviews and tests on relevant platforms and devices.

• You have an open eye on new technologies as they emerge and evaluate if and how they can be applied to our stack.

• You provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers and contribute to the application architecture.

Requirements

• You are a well versed web developer with a great understanding of design patterns and concepts - from asynchronous programming and closures to progressive web apps and microservices.

• You have spent 3+ years professionally developing modern web applications using React and UI libraries to bring product design templates into realization while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.

• You are experienced in working with the technologies from our stack: TypeScript, Next.js, Chakra UI, Node.js, NestJS, MongoDB.

• Knowledge of handling geospatial data, experience with GeoJSON or BigQuery is a bonus.

• You have a good feel for what makes a great user experience and you are passionate about delivering a product that delights our customers.

• You are strive for high quality, are technically savvy and love to collaborate with others.

• You have good communication skills and are fluent in English. German skills are a bonus.
