About the role:

Kong Core UI Engineering team is looking for a highly talented Vue.js engineer to help create scalable, performant business logic components for the Kong cloud platform. You will be responsible for working with our amazing frontend team to take our Vue 3 code base to the next level. You will collaborate closely with other frontend engineers and the design team to deliver scalable components for the application and improve user experience. The UI code you will write is the foundation of every Kong Web application.

What you’ll be doing:

Great understanding of Vue 3 and other related technologies in the ecosystem (Pinia, Vue router, TypeScript, etc). Design and build scalable solutions for our Web UI Components in Vue 3. Design and implement Kong SaaS Web application and web developer tools.

Set direction and partner with Kong web engineers to implement technologies like module federation and reusable web components into all Kong web applications. Work with engineers to enable us to move to Micro-frontend architecture. Experience with Vitest, Cypress, pnpm. 

Experience on GraphQL is a plus.   

What you’ll bring:

3+ years of professional experience of VueJS and TypeScript. Very good professional knowledge of Vue 3, Pinia4+ years of experience building SaaS Web applications and web developer tools. Deep understanding of UI/UX principles and user and developer experience. Great understanding of micro-frontend architecture.

What is a Konger? 

Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to specific candidate location, role, skill set and level of experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards including sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role. Benefits may vary depending on location. The typical base pay range for this role in Canada is $135,000-$190,000.
