The Opportunity

Adobe is looking for a Software Development Engineer to build Marketer Playground as the self-serve experience for Adobe Experience Platform where Marketers can strategize, ideate, and iterate on initiatives.
 

What you'll do

- Deliver best-in-class, responsive and scalable solutions ready for mass audiences.
- Drive and implement a variety of innovative, critical initiatives using the latest tools and technologies.
- Lead front-end engineering initiatives, assisting UI Architects, and ensuring technical quality.
- Design, develop, test, deploy and monitor features to enhance security, performance, and User Experience. 
- Drive efforts to improve technical quality and solutions through code reviews, architecture reviews, test suite strategy, leading by example, etc.


What you need to succeed

- Passion for building User Experiences; well thought through end-to-end solutions are second nature to you.
- 6+ years of professional experience building highly-performant and sophisticated web applications using modern web development technologies.
- Professional Experience with JavaScript frameworks especially ReactJS and responsive web design
- Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, and React
- Solid foundation in software engineering process & standard methodologies (unit testing, build automation, CI/CD, etc.)
- Experience with Jest, Cypress.io or similar testing frameworks
- Good written and verbal communication skills and English proficiency


Good to have

- Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL and Apollo
- Knowledge of load optimization, cloud deployment strategies and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to REST based microservices using Java or Node.js
- Full-stack engineering experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $119,000 -- $232,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
