Emizio is an early-stage pre-seed funded business moving fast to be a leader in the next generation of emissions measurement software. The team is driven by our mission to bring the latest technology to business in order to rapidly accelerate sustainability goals. We believe urgent action is needed to prevent further increases in global warming and that corporate action plays a significant role in achieving this. We are seeking to expand our engineering team alongside our technical co-founder and first engineer. Our focus is on creating an enjoyable working environment and growing an in-house team of talented, driven and team-oriented individuals. We have completed our pre-seed funding round and secured an Innovate UK Smart grant, providing a substantial runway. We will be raising our seed round in H2 2023.  We are now hiring at least one more engineer to build out our MVP over Q4 ‘22 and H1 ‘23.

We will be building a B2B SaaS application for SMEs & enterprises which is designed to grossly simplify the currently manual task of collating, processing and reporting emissions data. Our USP is a technologically superior platform providing features such as automated data ingestion and transparent calculations.

Our technical stack currently comprises of:

• AWS with Terraform Cloud
• sst.dev, Node.js and Next.js
• Postgres, Prisma and Knex
• TypeScript & Haskell

We are looking for:

• Strong generalist engineering skills, with a track record of successfully delivering engineering projects.
• An interest in functional programming, DevSecOps, and operating in effective engineering teams.
• Experience in B2B or enterprise engineering (optional).
• Experience with semi-structured/unstructured data processing (optional).
