Job brief 🎯

We are looking for a Software Engineer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be the first Software Engineer of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Software Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

What are you going to do? 🌱

• Work with development teams and product managers to conceptualize software solutions

• Design client-side and server-side architecture

• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

• Write effective APIs

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

• Create security and data protection settings

• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

• Write technical documentation

• Madrid area is a must: Despite we embrace hybrid work, candites not located in Madrid area are not considered at the moment

Language 🇪🇸 🇬🇧

• Fluency in both Spanish and English is a must

What do you need? ☀️

• Experience: we highly value previous proven experience as a Software Engineer, a Full Stack Developer or similar role in startups from very early stage to consolidation at scale. It must include experience developing web and mobile applications.

• Familiarity with common stacks: Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript). Knowledge of Python as back-end language and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js).

• Familiarity with other full stack resources: databases (e.g. MySQL, BigQuery), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design.

• Familiarity with GCP Cloud Arquitecture: you bring a thorough understanding of cloud architecture and Google Cloud. You know how to design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions to drive business objectives.

• Love of learning: you nurture your curiosity and learn with enthusiasm. You know how to learn independently and with others.

• Accountability: you enjoy making an opportunity your own and pursue it to completion.

• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills: you are an organized person, with a high ability to collaborate and pay attention to detail.

• Problem solving: you are able to tackle challenges you have not seen before and independently research how to solve them.

• You adapt easily: you feel like a fish in water working in a fast-paced environment and you manage uncertainty well.

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or other relevant field is a plus.
