Connectible is a Web 3.0 startup, building a global community platform for all types of physical and digital collectable markets, including NFTs. We are looking to build our own private blockchain as a side chain to Ethereum and reward users with proprietary tokens based on their interactions on our platform.

We are looking to hire a Technical Lead who can recruit and manage the engineering team, lead the development of our platform, starting with a basic MVP, that is to include a website and full suite of native iOS and Android apps that will be used by potentially millions of users.

This role will be influential in driving the direction of the company alongside the founding team.

As Technical Lead, you’ll be the first tech hire for the company and will work alongside the Founders with direct responsibility for building the technology landscape, platform and team.

• Work closely with our founding team to set the vision and shape the future of our product and technology to meet the company’s business goals
• Lead a team of engineers to build out the company’s products
• Input and execute on the company’s product, architecture and engineering roadmap
• Assess opportunities, risks, and drive decisions to best ensure the company’s competitive advantage
• Communicate our product and technology strategy to partners and investors

• Recruit, coach and develop a best-in-class product and engineering team working closely with our CEO and Product Designer
• Short, medium and long-term team design and resource planning to achieve all development goals
• Ensure clear and constantly improving delivery and quality assurance processes
• Set, monitor and meet the relevant development team KPIs

• A hands-on technology lead who understands the application of blockchain, Machine Learning AI technologies and cloud based hosting systems  
• Diverse programming skillset, as we look to scale up our platform into different markets
• Optimisation of the company’s products performance and security
• Outline goals for product discovery and research and development, driving the team towards successful learning outcomes and clear decisions based on user data
• Set up testing and data analysis criteria and systems to optimise features and user adoption
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs and customer feedback
• Work in conjunction with our Product Designer to match our brand identity to the UX design of the website
• Develop and provide feedback on the Product Roadmap, work closely with the founders to decide on prioritisation, resource allocation, and timelines
• Keep up to date on all relevant tech trends, competitors, tools and resources

• Proven technical lead with experience building and leading engineering teams
• Deep understanding of agile product development and continual data driven improvements
• Experience of scaling early-stage process innovation products
• 3+ years experience in full stack development, ideally Javascript, with proven experience writing clean, maintainable code
• Previously worked as part of an early stage, high-growth startup team, ideally alongside a non-technical Founder
• Needs to be an active programmer
• Experience of front-end and back-end website architecture and development
• Based in London and happy to work at company’s premises in Shoreditch
• Detail focused work ethic

• Good knowledge of multiple programming languages, including Javascript  
• Knowledge of blockchain systems and coding
• Experience/knowledge of Cloud computing for hosting
• Enthusiastic about UX/UI design driven platforms
