The Autobooking tribe, SPROF team is looking for a tech-lead to help us build an innovative tool for the anti-fraud domain. Together with a team of engineers, you will contribute to our TypeScript code-base.

As an engineering lead, you’ll be leading a team of software engineers while being the owner of the technical stack and the decision-maker for the project, which is a key component of our automation process and you’ll be able to see its direct impact on revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• leading the team of ~5 developers

• help your engineers grow their skills and experience while maintaining a strong relationship with them

• ensure the high-quality work of the team - code reviews, clean code, and testing best practices

• minimize technical debt, errors, outages and conduct risk management

• contribute to product architecture and design technical solutions

• actively cooperate with product management on agile processes and quarterly OKRs planning

We want you if you

• have 5 years or more in software development

• have at least 2 years of experience in a leadership position

• have experience with running agile project management process

• are familiar with software patterns and know where/when to use them, SQL and no-SQL databases, debugging and monitoring, containerization, testing, git, CI/CD, networking

• have experience with TypeScript (preferably) or other strongly statically typed language

• are enthusiastic about functional programming and love to apply fp concepts in your daily work

• can design API according to application communication needs (sync, async...) 

We want you even more if you

• have some prior experience with TDD and/or BDD

• like pair programming and tutoring others

• have prior experience with cloud providers - Google cloud (preferably), AWS, Azure, you name it…
