You’ll Be Responsible for...
  • Building the User Interface for the platformgame
    • You’re a Good Fit if...

      You are: - Expert in JavascriptTypescript, JSX, React, custom hooks, and the modern virtual DOM render loop

      • Expert in programming with asynchronous APIs, including parallelization, event systems, memory transfers, graceful error handling, and abort control
      • Experience in asynchronous multithreaded job-based task systems
      • Experience with multimedia elements, especially WebGL canvas
      • Bonus: experience with audio elementsWebAudio
      • Capable of using advanced browser profiling and debugging features: performance timelines, render loop jitter analysis, memory leaks, listener cleanup, multithreaded tracing
      • Strong CSS layout skills, including performance implications and profiling
      • Experience dealing with low-level browser rendering bugs when encounering corner cases
      • Ability to design well-abstracted user interface components (React)
      • Ability to write well-encapsulated CSS code
      • Ability to implement complex multi-element CSS animations and transitions
      • Experience working with and debugging web frameworks on the server side (Vite.js)
      • Intuition for how resources affect page load times
      • Eye for simple, fun, reactive, and vibrant user interfaces
      • Bonus: worked with Web3 libraries like useDappethers.js
      • 2 years experience as a gamer
