Job Description

triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking a Web Developer to join our Digital Learning team.

Primary Purpose

The main purpose of the Web Developer is to contribute to the success of the team by designing, coding and modifying web pages within the learning management systems (LMS), from layout to function and according to project or course development specifications. The Web Developer will create appealing single page applications (SPAs) for teaching and learning. These SPAs will feature clear navigation and user-friendly design and interface.

The Web Developer will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness; embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5 years of experience with LMS course development.
Experience working with D2L Brightspace configuration and customization is considered an asset.
Experience working as a full-stack developer is preferred.
Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Bootstrap.
Experience with JQuery, Node.JS, React.JS and Angular (or other similar JavaScript library).
Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
Hands-on design experience with Web Services (ex. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Experience with Windows 10, and Mac OSX.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong understanding of security principles and how they apply to various teaching and learning applications.
Experience with planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
Self-motivated with prioritization and interpersonal skills to balance multiple demands.
Ability to manage multiple projects, plan tasks and implement them effectively.
Strong English skills in both spoken and written communication.
Excellent ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Adaptable to changes within the organization and service-oriented.
Ability to work in a fast paced and high-energy environment.

Hours Of Work

This is a permanent full-time opportunity. Hours of work will be 8am-5pm EST, Monday to Friday.

Start Date

The scheduled start for this opportunity is immediate.
