In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions that support Honeywell’s connected products and digital platforms. You will work across the full software development lifecycle while providing technical leadership for software quality, test strategy, automation, and release readiness.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, firmware, systems, quality, cybersecurity, and product management teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions for Honeywell’s connected product portfolio.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise software applications and cloud services.
Build and maintain modern full-stack applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and contemporary front-end frameworks.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and distributed application components.
Lead the quality engineering strategy, test planning, execution approach, quality metrics, and release-readiness assessments.
Provide technical direction and mentorship to QA and software engineers, coordinate testing priorities, and promote consistent quality practices across delivery teams.
Define and implement automated test frameworks for unit, API, integration, functional, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
Plan and lead performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, capacity, reliability, and resiliency testing using recognized industry practices.
Establish CI/CD quality gates, defect management practices, requirements traceability, test reporting, and continuous improvement measures.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, systems, product, cybersecurity, and quality teams to validate integrated device-to-cloud solutions.
Lead troubleshooting, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex application, integration, and system-level issues.
Support connected devices, gateways, panels, and cloud services within IoT ecosystems.
Participate in architecture and design reviews and contribute to engineering standards, innovation, and technical excellence.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 6 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and delivering enterprise software applications, SaaS solutions, cloud services, or connected product solutions.
Minimum of 5 years of experience developing enterprise software using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, cloud-native architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.
Minimum of 3 years of full-stack development experience using Angular or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB or other cloud services, including application deployment, data modeling, and performance optimization.
Minimum of 3 years of experience leading quality engineering and test automation efforts, including test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, release readiness, and automated testing for APIs and web applications.
Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting performance, load, stress, scalability, reliability, and resiliency testing.

WE VALUE

Experience serving as a Quality Lead, Test Lead, SDET Lead, or technical leader for multidisciplinary QA teams.
Experience with industry-standard tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured, JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, NUnit, or xUnit.
Knowledge of recognized quality engineering practices, including risk-based and shift-left testing, test pyramids, requirements traceability, defect prevention, and continuous testing.
Experience interpreting performance baselines, service-level objectives, throughput, latency, resource utilization, bottlenecks, and capacity trends.
Experience developing software for IoT-enabled products and connected systems.
Experience integrating cloud applications with hardware devices, gateways, sensors, panels, embedded software, or edge systems.
Knowledge of MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, BLE, and Wi-Fi.
Experience with device-to-cloud architectures, telemetry, remote device management, and event-driven messaging.
Experience with Azure App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights, and Azure DevOps.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, and containerized deployments.
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, managed identities, OWASP guidance, security testing, and cybersecurity practices for connected products.
Experience in industrial automation, building technologies, fire and life safety systems, or other connected-product domains.
