Description

The Senior Developer supports the design, development, and maintenance of operational data solutions, reporting products, AI-enabled applications, and web-based applications that improve access to operational information and support operational decision-making. This role delivers operational solutions utilizing .NET and React technologies, develops high-performing datasets and analytics products, and drives API integration strategies to enable seamless connectivity across products. The position combines technical development, data analysis, AI and problem-solving skills to improve operational outcomes. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, this role translates complex operational requirements into scalable, data products, and reporting solutions that support operational objectives.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other Quantitative/Analytical discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in ETL/data integration, product development with full-stack development experience
  • Proficiency writing complex queries and in manipulating data (i.e. SQL, Python, Databricks, etc)
  • Proficiency in full-stack development (.NET, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery) with experience building secure, cross-browser compatible web interfaces and integrating APIs using React
  • 1+ yrs of experience developing or integrating AI-enabled solutions, including Generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation
  • Data visualization skills using one or more reporting tools (i.e. Spotfire, Tableau, PowerBI, ThinkCell, etc)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

 

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

 

  • 1+ yrs in an airline operational group such Station Operations, Inflight, Flight Ops, Network Planning, Tech Ops, or Resource Planning
  • Advanced data analytics and visualization skills
    Understanding of United or airline business and operations

The base pay range for this role is $89,965.00 to $117,212.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
