About the Role
Lead a team building an AI context platform for a collaborative data and analytics product. The platform helps users understand how AI agents work with their data, identify quality issues, and improve the context that informs their results.
What You'll Do
Lead the team responsible for the context platform.
Set technical strategy, review designs, and contribute hands-on to engineering work.
Manage and support engineers, set a high bar, and help the team do its best work.
Recruit and develop engineering talent.
What We're Looking For
At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience and 2 years of engineering management experience.
Experience managing teams of 3 to 15 engineers in a high-growth startup environment.
Recent hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product, rather than only using AI tools in day-to-day work.
Proficiency in TypeScript, ideally with React and PostgreSQL; Python experience is also valued.
Experience leading a technical product for technical users, such as a data product or developer tool.
A computer science degree, equivalent technical degree, or comparable technical foundation.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $221,000 to $295,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. Equity details were not provided.
Location
Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California. The role also considers candidates based in New York, New York.
