About the Role
Lead the engineering team building a context platform for an AI-powered data analytics product. The platform helps users understand and improve how AI agents work with their data, combining human insight with automated learning and iteration.
What You'll Do
Lead the team responsible for the context platform.
Set technical strategy, review designs, and contribute hands-on to engineering work.
Manage and support engineers, setting a high bar and helping them do their best work.
Recruit and develop engineering talent.
What We're Looking For
At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 2 or more years managing engineering teams.
Experience managing teams of 3 to 15 engineers and working in a high-growth startup environment.
Recent hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product, beyond using AI tools in day-to-day work.
Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, Postgres, and Python is valuable.
Background leading engineering for a technical product, ideally for technical users in areas such as data tools or developer tooling.
A degree in computer science or an equivalent technical field, or comparable technical expertise.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $221,000 to $295,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California, or New York, New York.
