About the Role
Lead a team building an AI context platform for a collaborative data analytics product. The platform helps users understand and improve how AI agents work with their data, combining human insight with automated learning and iteration.
What You'll Do
Lead the engineering team responsible for the context platform.
Set technical strategy, review designs, and contribute hands-on to implementation.
Manage and support engineers, setting a high bar and helping them do their best work.
Recruit strong engineering talent for the team.
What We're Looking For
At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience and 2 or more years managing engineers.
Experience managing a team of 3 to 15 individual-contributor engineers.
Recent hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product.
Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, PostgreSQL, and Python is valuable.
Background building technical products in a high-growth startup environment, ideally in data, analytics, or developer tools.
Strong technical fundamentals, supported by a computer science or equivalent technical degree, or equivalent experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $221,000 to $295,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California. The role includes working from the office twice a week.
