About the Role
Join an early-stage team building B2B software for workforce and headcount planning. As a Founding Engineer, you will work closely with the product team and customers to shape solutions, take ownership from technical design through production, and help guide the product as the company grows.
What You'll Do
Design, build, ship, and iterate on product features while balancing speed with quality.
Work with the team to understand customer problems and turn them into practical technical solutions.
Talk with customers to investigate product issues and help resolve them.
Own substantial areas of the product, from system design and implementation through production delivery.
Contribute across engineering, product, and customer support in a small, early-stage team.
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of full-stack software engineering experience across frontend and backend development.
Proficiency in TypeScript and the ability to learn unfamiliar technologies and stacks quickly; experience with GCP or MongoDB is relevant.
Experience designing low-latency systems and working with transport or streaming technologies.
Strong systems design, data modeling, and computer science fundamentals, ideally supported by a degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Experience at a venture-backed startup, as a founder or founding engineer, or equivalent ownership of zero-to-one projects.
Product and user empathy, initiative, and comfort collaborating with customers or cross-functional partners.
B2B software experience is valuable, particularly in HR or finance, along with a track record of working across multiple responsibilities in a small team.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $150,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
