About the Role
Join an early-stage B2B software team building a platform for workforce and headcount planning. As a Founding Engineer, you will work closely with the founders and customers, taking ownership from technical design through production and helping shape a product that supports important business decisions.
What You'll Do
Design, build, ship, and improve product features while balancing speed with quality.
Work with the founders to turn customer problems into practical technical solutions.
Own substantial areas of the product, from architecture and implementation through production support.
Engage with customers to investigate and resolve product issues and inform product direction.
Contribute across engineering, product, and customer support as the needs of a small team evolve.
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of full-stack software engineering experience across frontend and backend development.
Proficiency with TypeScript and experience learning and working across different technology stacks; experience with GCP and MongoDB is relevant.
Experience designing low-latency systems and working with transport or streaming technologies.
Strong systems design, data modeling, and computer science fundamentals, with a degree in computer science or engineering.
Experience at a venture-backed startup, as a founder or founding engineer, or owning zero-to-one projects in another setting.
Product and user empathy, initiative, and experience collaborating with customers or cross-functional teams in a small team environment.
B2B software experience is valuable, particularly in HR or finance.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $150,000 to $200,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.

This is an on-site role based in Palo Alto, California.
