About the Role
Join an early-stage B2B SaaS team building software for headcount planning and organizational decision-making. As a Founding Engineer, you will own substantial parts of the product from technical design through production, while helping shape what the team builds alongside founders and customers.
What You'll Do
Design, build, ship, and iterate on product features, balancing speed with quality.
Own engineering work across the frontend and backend, from system design to production delivery.
Work with founders to identify customer problems and develop practical solutions.
Engage directly with customers to understand product issues and help resolve them.
Contribute across engineering, product, and customer support as needed in a small team.
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of full-stack software engineering experience spanning frontend and backend development.
Proficiency in TypeScript and the ability to learn and work across technology stacks; experience with GCP and MongoDB is relevant.
Experience designing low-latency systems and working with transport or streaming technologies.
Strong systems design, data modeling, and computer science fundamentals, ideally supported by a degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Experience at a venture-backed startup, as a founder or founding engineer, or owning zero-to-one projects in another setting.
Product and user empathy, including an interest in how people work with data.
Initiative in delivering projects beyond an established roadmap, plus experience collaborating in small teams and with customers or cross-functional partners.
B2B software experience is valuable, particularly in HR or Finance.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $150,000 to $200,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
