About the Role
Join an early-stage team building wearable AI products for field technicians working in industrial environments. You will own the product layer around the AI system, connecting wearable devices, backend services, and companion apps into a dependable end-to-end experience.
What You'll Do
Build the end-to-end experience across wearable devices, backend services, and companion applications.
Develop and optimize low-latency video and streaming pipelines that connect devices to AI services.
Own reliable, observable backend APIs and data services that support customers and AI workflows.
Build mobile and desktop tools for device setup, monitoring, and workflow configuration.
Establish safe deployment and release practices for software running on devices in the field.
Make scalable architecture decisions and help shape engineering practices as the team grows.
Debug issues across frontend, backend, and device layers.
What We're Looking For
2 to 5 years of software engineering experience, ideally including early-stage startup work.
A track record of shipping end-to-end products with real users, including backend APIs, data layers, and frontend or mobile clients.
Full-stack experience with modern tools such as TypeScript, Python, React, React Native, Node.js, AWS, GCP, or Supabase.
Experience with real-time video, streaming, or low-latency systems; WebRTC, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, REST APIs, and CI/CD are relevant technologies.
Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to make sound architectural decisions independently.
Mobile application experience and a demonstrated interest in AI-powered products are valued.
