About the Role
Join an early-stage industrial AI team building wearable tools that help field technicians work with real-time assistance. You will own the product layer around the AI core, from connected devices and cloud services to companion applications.
What You'll Do
Ship end-to-end experiences connecting wearable glasses, backend services, and companion applications.
Build cloud components for real-time video ingestion, APIs, and storage.
Develop reliable, observable backend APIs and data systems used by devices and AI services.
Build mobile and desktop applications for setup, monitoring, and workflow configuration.
Establish safe deployment and release processes for software running on hardware in the field.
Set product architecture and engineering practices, and debug across frontend, backend, and device layers.
What We're Looking For
Two to five years of post-graduate software engineering experience, ideally including early-stage startup work.
Experience building and shipping a product end to end, including backend APIs, data layers, and user-facing web or mobile clients.
Strong full-stack skills with modern tools such as TypeScript, Python, React, React Native, Node.js, AWS, GCP, or Supabase.
Ability to make sound architectural decisions and build scalable systems from an early stage.
Experience with real-time video, streaming, low-latency pipelines, or wearable, edge, and mobile products is valuable.
Familiarity with AI product integrations, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebRTC, Docker, and CI/CD is beneficial.
A record of building in early-stage or demanding environments, supported by relevant product experience, strong technical foundations, or independent projects.
