About the Role
Join an early-stage industrial wearable AI team as a founding full-stack engineer. You will own the product layer connecting smart glasses, AI services, backend systems, and companion apps, helping field technicians use real-time AI assistance in their day-to-day work.
What You'll Do
Build the end-to-end experience across wearable devices, backend services, and companion applications.
Develop and optimize low-latency video and streaming pipelines that connect smart glasses to AI services.
Own reliable, observable backend APIs and data systems that support devices and AI workflows.
Build mobile and desktop tools for device setup, monitoring, and workflow configuration.
Create deployment and release processes that safely deliver software updates to devices in the field.
Make architectural decisions and establish engineering practices as the team grows.
Debug issues across frontend, backend, and device systems to keep work moving.
What We're Looking For
Two to five years of software engineering experience after graduation, ideally including early-stage startup experience.
Experience shipping and owning a full product end to end, including backend APIs, data systems, and a user-facing frontend or mobile client.
Strong full-stack skills with technologies such as TypeScript, Python, React, React Native, Node.js, AWS, GCP, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and REST APIs.
Experience with real-time video, streaming, low-latency systems, mobile applications, or integrating AI pipelines into products is valuable.
Sound engineering fundamentals and the ability to make scalable architectural decisions independently.
A demonstrated record of building and shipping, through startup work, personal projects, open-source contributions, or similar experience.
