About the Role

Instead of buying more software, we build our own internal apps, quickly, with AI coding tools like Claude Code and Replit. We already run a growing set of them: a help desk with an AI Salesforce admin agent, a partner management hub, a forms platform replacing JotForm, an account-opening bridge from intake to Salesforce to Fidelity, advisor tools that fill client questionnaires from meeting transcripts and documents, and BD call scorecards built on Zoom Contact Center data. You will take these from fast prototypes to secure, tested, production apps the firm can rely on, and build the next ones, starting with a Falcon data warehouse that brings custodian, CRM and planning data together in one place. This is a builder role in a regulated firm. You move fast with AI, and every app still ships with sign-in, access control, logging, tests and a way to roll back.

What you'll do

Build and ship internal apps (about 80% of the role, with the next two areas)

  • Build full-stack web apps and automations with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Replit Agent), from a short spec or wireframe to production.
  • Own a growing set of internal apps, for example: an AI-assisted help desk, a tool for managing partner relationships, digital forms that feed our CRM, a workflow that automates new-account paperwork, planning tools that turn meeting notes and documents into client data, and dashboards that score sales calls.
  • Develop a CRM platform that ties into the data warehouse, so every team works from one view of each client.
  • Develop custom apps at the direction of management, from requirements through build, release and support.
  • Test and QA every release: automated tests, user acceptance testing with the requesting team, and regression checks before production.
  • Turn prototypes into maintainable code: clean data models, tests, code review, version control and documented deploys.
  • Build AI features with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude and others): document and transcript extraction, scoring, drafting and agents that propose changes for human approval.

Data warehouse, mapping and consolidation

  • Design and build Falcon's data warehouse: one source of truth for custodian,

Salesforce, eMoney, Zoom and document data.

  • Map data across systems: field-by-field mappings, household and account matching, and shared definitions so reports match across teams.
  • Build and run data pipelines from custodian feeds and APIs, with checks that catch bad, late or missing data.
  • Consolidate systems: retire overlapping tools, migrate their data into Falcon's own systems, and merge duplicate records.
  • Integrate with Salesforce, Zoom (Phone, Contact Center, Team Chat), Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar) and custodian platforms such as Fidelity, Schwab, TradePMR and Interactive Brokers (IBKR).
  • Keep Salesforce data clean and in sync across apps.

Security, compliance and reliability

  • Put every app behind company sign-in (Google or Okta SSO) with role-based access.
  • Protect client data: encryption, redaction before data reaches AI services, least-privilege API keys and secret management.
  • Build in audit logs, approval steps and rollback for any app that changes production systems, to meet SEC books-and-records and Regulation S-P expectations.
  • Monitor uptime, errors and AI usage cost, and fix issues fast.

IT systems support (about 20%)

  • Support identity and access in Okta and Google Workspace, including automated onboarding and offboarding with Okta groups and Workflows.
  • Back up the technology team on Zoom, network and endpoint issues when needed.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years building and shipping full-stack web apps (TypeScript or JavaScript, React or Next.js, Node or Python).
  • Daily, hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or Replit Agent, with judgment about when to trust and when to rewrite their output.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling in Postgres or a cloud data warehouse, including building data pipelines and mapping data between systems.
  • Experience consolidating systems or migrating data between platforms, including de-duplicating and reconciling records.
  • Experience building on REST APIs and webhooks, and with OAuth and SSO (OIDC or SAML).
  • Experience shipping features on LLM APIs: prompts, structured output, evaluation and cost control.
  • Security habits: secret management, access control, input validation and safe handling of personal data.
  • Git, code review, automated tests and repeatable deploys.
  • Clear written communication: short specs, change notes and plain-English updates for non-technical staff.
  • Ability to pass a background check, as required for financial services employees.

Nice to have

  • Snowflake, BigQuery or a similar cloud warehouse, and transformation tools such as dbt.
  • Google Cloud (GCP) or AWS experience: hosting apps, managed databases, storage, identity and access, and keeping cloud costs in check.
  • Wealth management data feeds or platforms such as BridgeFT, Milemarker or Addepar.
  • Salesforce development or admin experience (Apex, Flows, REST and Metadata APIs), especially Financial Services Cloud.
  • Zoom API experience (Phone, Contact Center, Team Chat apps).
  • Google Workspace APIs (Gmail, Drive, Calendar).
  • Experience at an RIA, broker-dealer or other SEC-regulated firm.
  • Building AI agents with human approval steps, or retrieval over company documents.
  • Okta administration and Okta Workflows.
  • Familiarity with custodian platforms such as Fidelity, Schwab, TradePMR and
  • Interactive Brokers (IBKR).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Base Salary: $115,000-130,000
  • Health Insurance: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.
  • Retirement: 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Paid Time Off: Generous PTO, paid firm holidays.
  • Professional Development: Support for continuing education, licensing, and industry conferences.
