Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement, and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain and enhance shared technology solutions and infrastructure. This role will partner with a cross-functional team to develop, test, launch, and refine solutions to optimize the organizations' service experience. Responsible to develop and, implement infrastructure technologies that support business priorities and capabilities for internal and external clients.
- Provide technical and practice leadership, and to continuously evolve the capabilities and technologies that enable continuous delivery of Wealth systems.
- Build and support applications and integrations using Cloud technology.
- You will work closely with product owners/ Product managers to develop alternative solutions to meet business needs.
- Analyze production system problems and recommend solutions.
- Investigate and solve production problems with minimal to no guidance.
- Working closely with business teams to identify key domains/ capabilities to be offered as APIs.
- Provide leadership in setting up end to end processes, guidelines, standards, protocols, governance and implementation in vendor platforms.
- Evangelize the Enterprise API Strategy and facilitate presentations to a wide audience of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively sharing knowledge/expertise with colleagues to improve their resourcefulness and performance.
- Train and coach others to develop their degree of expertise.
What you’ll bring:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years experience in IT, with multi-domain expertise.
- Prominent level of proficiency in .NET/C#, and at least 3+ years of experience.
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Experience with Cloud Native Architecture and Infrastructure Pattern.
- Experience in Azure Cloud environment and Azure DevOps, especially developing and deploying CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines).
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with Azure App Services, Azure Function, Service Bus, Azure Storage and Application Insights using Infrastructure-as-Code(Bicep).
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Transact SQL with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience using testing frameworks for both client and server code (i.e. NUnit, MSTest, etc.).
- Implementing and supporting multi-platform integration solutions.
- Manage the full API lifecycle by configuring API Gateways for secure routing, maintaining a central API Catalogue, and building CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
- Design and document HTTP REST services using JSON and JSON Schema, ensuring strict adherence to the HTTP protocol, status codes, and Swagger specifications.
- Extending core systems capabilities by developing custom extensions and integrations via APIs to other enterprise systems and solutions.
- Leverage and integrate vendor platforms while holding external partners accountable to architectural and technical standards.
- Deep understanding of business capability definitions, data modelling, integration layers.
- Experience leading other developers on projects; task and priority setting, working with business partners, etc.
- Experience with ORMs like Entity Framework is an asset.
- Experience with web applications using React, NPM, and JavaScript are considered an asset.

Your base pay will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and education. In addition to your salary, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award tied to business performance, plus a wide range of competitive benefits.
